Hi mikie, sadly all municipal dumps forbid any salvaging of pieces thrown in the village dumpsters, there have been many WWII finds pulled out by various collectors over the years, no-more, if it's metal its melted down again, if it's combustable it's burnt in furnaces, history lost and forgotten . . . . . . Hi Johan, Your rolling again, I have a few of the earlier metal flaps used inside the rims and later replaced by rubber flaps, which prevent pinching the inner tube when assembling the two halves of the combat rim.
