Too Bad you missed it, It was a good one Almost picked up a STEN Gun for my French Resistance display but ran out of money :)    Its a Great little LOCAL show, most if not all the Collectors / Sellers are local so its a nice place to meet up with other home town like minded folks  OH This last show had an interesting Group of a WWI  soldier FROM Hayward INCLUDED his DSC with and a large 1920s photo of him standing in front of the Veterans Memorial building the show is held in I cant remember the soldiers name It was a very nice Group with Documentation / Photos and HIS DSC wish I toot a photo

Can anyone provide me with a unit  or identification from the markings for this and approximate value? The last name is Strickland. First initials are hard to make out but could be T.D. I don't collect marine field gear. Thank you kindly

Ha! That’s not a khazi, that’s a TARDIS!  The chameleon circuit is malfunctioning again and is working like 💩 . 

After a relative dry spell, things are improving as the weather accommodates events like yard sales, swapmeets, etc. Found the pictured USMC canteens w/covers, Gerber folding E-tool BDU case and USGI mess kit in a heap of much the same on Saturday. Seller said anything in the pile was five bucks per item. I noted many of the canteen cases had the male snaps pulled through the case and were still attached to the Molle belt straps. This is a very common issue with these because of the material's elasticity. In addition, had these snaps a small, reinforcing roundel as additional backing, this problem would likely not exist. I was most pleased with the mess tin as it was a T.A.C.U. Co. | 1941 aluminum kit complete with period, tin plated utensils and named as well. Not pictured but also purchased from another vendor were three nice leather pistol holsters... like new Safariland  hip for Browning HP, NOS Bianchi for Colt M1911 Commander and lightly used Bianchi #3 Pistol Pocket for my Walther PPK/S.

Coupling is different in the early war mask 43/44 and the late 44/45.     There is also a different coupling in the early war mask used with TYPE D mask o2 system, but it is a totally different thing and a RARE item.
