Thank you so much, that's a nice mask! Is it a safe bet for a a14 with a late 1944 early 1945 corsair pilot inpression? It's interesting with the navy strap. Could they have had the snaps as well? -

Hi Landon, Not exactly sure when the A-14 o Mask became available but can assure you they were used by naval Aviators, Here is an example in my collection. It has the strap attachment rather than the usual snap and hook attachment. I could be wrong but I believe the strap attachment was unique to the USN. Other USN flight helmets were fitted with the snaps attachment as usually seen with the A-14. -

Great thread! I did not see the variant I've got in my collection. Admittedly I know next to nothing about these. Is this one any good? No provenance - though it did come out of a collection with lots of good stuff (but not without some old fakes). -

Here is the third type MOH certificate. Notice Congressional is removed and the eagle at the top has been replaced by an embossed MOH the certificate represents ND IT Ws reduced in size, medal of honor certificate. medal of honor certificate -
