Bonjour. In the 1970s, we had this type of equipment in the engineer regiments. I still remember very well the hours spent working with the jackhammer! sol. -

This is just not true. Online websites state they still exist, and I know a man who has spend many years going through archives and documenting them. -

. Hi flibble Well these photos worked out very well, thanks for sharing with us . . . . . . . nice to see what's happening out there in other places. Why hasn't mikie added any more great jokes about photography ? He hasn't developed any presently . Norman D. Landing, Forum Normandy Correspondent, May 12 2O25. …. -

It turned out to be a bit of a challenge to develop the Pack Film. It's slightly larger than regular 4x5" sheet film so it wouldn't fit into the specific developing tank for it I have. There were light leaks, scratches, finger prints, "Nightmare lines" and lots of dust. BUT!!! I managed to get something usable out of all 16 images in the pack. You can see the rest of the set (shots from a wartime Leica camera) here: https://www.flibweb.nl/flibweb/cpg154/thumbnails.php?album=351 As for all the photography related puns....... GROAN!!! 😆 "I take people into dark rooms, cut off their heads and blow them up" -

Contacted this seller off of ebay to get some US Army general ACU hooked back rank patches to enhance my current display just after the new year. At the time, they said they were suspending sales due to their observance of the Chinese New Year or Tet. Fast forward to current times, Got to spending $$ in my account, so I went to order. Couldn't complete the order as it kept saying, check your delivery address. I contacted the sell and got this response. Now, original pieces are great, but I was just looking to complete the rank structure of my ACU collection, AND ... I wanted to do it (and I will admit) CHEAP. This not political by any means, just a reality as to what we as collectors are having to face. Has anyone else been severely affected by the tariffs by attempting to buy items from abroad? -

Just following up on a buckle posted some time ago, (posting #1123, Sept 20, 2023 on page #45). Submariner, A.L. Hughes. has dropped from $199 and has dropped to $141.96. It was posted with other buckles, but now shown here alone. -

also, as a side note. I’m very serious about this and want to do the right way and in a way that isn’t distasteful. So whatever I need to get or learn about the subject I am open. Thanks! -

Hello all! I’m fairly new to chaplain stuff and have been looking into it the past few months so I can create an accurate impression for my reenactment group. Wanted to try to provide a more “interactive” experience for the public and my group. Problem is, I have never tried to collect chaplain stuff or ever owned anything, or really even know about it? So any guidance is welcome. Looking to find out what a chaplain was issued that was different from regular enlisted men. What is the more “combat” related kind of gear they carried, what was there roll , how they held mass, etc. let me know thanks! P.S. not sure if this was the best place to put this or in the reenacting section. Feel free to move if necessary. -
