Johnny, I can only contribute the fact that this character is "Puss In Boots", which might give you a better search term. The other thing might be a random observation. It seems to me older designs (as in pre-1942) tend not to have specific aircraft in them, but after that, whichever squadron owned the emblem may have modified it to include specific planes.....meaning, maybe the most original oldest design is the one on the right? The one on the Corsair is I.D.'d by Flying Tiger Antiques as belonging to VBF-74 as "The Fighting Cavaliers", dated "circa1944-45" and "late WWII". https://www.flyingtigerantiques.com/late-wwii-usn-vbf-74-squadron-patch-the-fighting-cavaliers.html The one riding the lighting bolt is I.D.'s by US WARS PATCHES as VF-22, dated simply "WWII" https://www.uswarspatches.com/ww2-us-navy-vf-22-patch/ Buddy, as usual, I'm probably telling you stuff you already know. But thanks for letting me eat at the kid's table anyway. -

I'm going to go with a Frankenmedal, since I don't think any non-US Mint medals used the "Gold Gilt" Full Wrap Brooch. Depending on what you paid for it, I like it for the brooch to properly restore a medal that would have been issued with it. So old Boris K. has a nice set of gold teeth. Member and seller medalmulisha has a helpful brooch guide on his website, link below. http://www.medalmulisha.com/medal-brooch-guide.html -

Perfectly good Amico Mess Dress size (if they are 2”), mid to late war Aviator. Berries in the shoulders weren’t added till fall of 1942. John -

I would be interested to hear if yours has a mark. If so, I would think that would point more to this being correct than a Frankenstein medal. -

Well, I made a bit of a boo boo with these but actually, I’m pretty pleased that I did. They are actually the small sized wings authorised for the side cap (I believe). Although a pin back, they are the same maker as my full sized ones. -
