Similar to his experience, I remember when my uncle took a similar placement test in the marines he scored so high he had the ability to pick any job he really wanted and wanted. I am very strong in the subjects mentioned and really in school in general, it’s not the problem. Just trying to gauge the pros and cons between a military tenure and  going into the same field in the civilian form (aviation) thanks for the advice.

Not in Michigan, we finally had a day that reached 70F today. It’s been a cold spring for sure but known to snow here in May. Supposed to reach 80 by the end of the week.

Paperwork for a VN era BSM is great I wish I could find some for the only named medal I have.  I feel the story(s) of the veterans heroism is what makes the artifacts worth maintaining.  Documentation is key to convey the actions the soldier took and to remember his service. Cheers, Armygas

Schlueter  front seam. Has a brushed on coat of paint. Has one bail missing and the other is a swivel bail with a vietnam era chin strap. Any idea on the red squares. They look like they were on before the overpaint.

Cdr Quick is kneeling directly in front of the sign, he is wearing glasses.  His head is in line with the words that say advisory group.   I really think it’s naval advisory group. beret flashes that you’re seeing they are very similar, especially in black-and-white photos.

We might have taken your warmth, sorry, I’d gladly give it back.  We’re going Kayak fishing tomorrow in the Gulf of ?? and it will probably hit 90F.  The crazy thing is that hurricanes that previously formed off the coast of Africa and came across the Atlantic to threaten Florida, now form directly in the Gulf off the Yucatán Peninsula, come due north, and hit the northwest coast of Florida.  This is happening because the water in the Gulf is so much warmer than it’s ever been, and these hurricanes are bad!  Then in January, we had 4 inches of snow in Tallahassee, which has never happened.  Like the old saying goes, “…everybody complains about the weather, but nobody does anything about it…”

I will have to see if I can get some better close ups but a few members do have the 5th SFG flash on them, its easier to see in hand. Which kneeling man is CDR Quick, I can get a closeup of him as well as anyone else that might be recognizable.
