Hi Guys, I'm new to posting, but I had a question regarding the RAR Oozelfinch patch. Years ago, I did a trade with a friend and ended up with a big pile of WW1 US Tunics. There were Pilot, Tanker, USMC, tunics. Even a couple tunics with patches that were with designs of divisions that didn't make the final cut. I met a collector who asked if I had a railroad Artillery tunic since he collected anything military railroad related. Low and behold, I do have one. It is the standard M1917 wool tunic in VG condition with collar discs US & CAC, a First Army "A" with the "Oozelfinch" patch attached at the bottom on the left upper sleeve. Exactly like the patch posted by Dan Griffin in 2007 #24. I'd consider selling the tunic but I am clueless as to it's value. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks guys. Jim -

Picked up this pilot wing and would like to see if anyone recognizes the pattern. It is a heavy wing and looks to have a silver coating on it, which has worn in areas. Finding are well made, no markings. -

And lastly with an original smoke grenade fuse. -

Now side by side with the riot CS replica I posted and an original M18. -

I won't go into as much detail for this one since a lot of the things I said about the previous riot CS replica they made applies to this replica too. Body is light, not sure about the historical accuracy of the raised "neck" of the grenade that attaches the fuse to the grenade, and from what I've seen most M34's had letters painted in red, not black. Although I'm sure if you ask they can paint it in red for you. Smartiescustoms also offers a green version of this, something their probably the only ones doing whereas other manufacturers just make the green or grey version only. -

Of course you have these in your collection. I would have been surprised if you did not 😁. A question just occurred to me as I typed this… Did jeeps come from the factory with some generic means to mount attachments like this to the Jeep (with some kind of kit with the device maybe) or was this fitted with mods in the field as needed? Thanks for the enlightenment. mikie -
