Ok ERDL experts— need some help on this one— US Navy direct embroidered ARVN cut ERDL top— kind of looks like an RDF or Thai pattern ERDL, but would love your opinions. Has a very faint stamp, but not in the ARVN style that I’ve seen on others. Let me know what you think! -

Spartan19, you are a very good investigational reporter this is the original owner of the ribbon bar. It may be out of order but I never change anything that is given me a certain way. Tehe way you see it is the way I got it. That is a better more colorful pic -

Might be the 33rd Tank Company, 33rd "Prairie" Division during the interwar years. Note the faint 'Golden Cross' insignia on the turret. -

Thanks. Our interpreter wrote on it. I know the bottom is my last name. Can't remember what top says other than Military Police -

1913 sabres were produced in 1918 by Springfield Armory, 5000 of them, I recently had one converted to a knife, interestingly no sabres are recorded being made in 1916 but as you mention they do exist, 284 blades were produced in 1916 so it might be that they are sabers with replacement blades or built at a later date. My reference on the subject and which I would recommend is, Swords & Sabers of the United States Army 1867-1918, by Farrington, there is about a 65 page chapter on the subject. -
