I recently picked up a very similar helmet, with the same newer tag. This one has had the headphones' wires sewn in. I also noticed on mine, and then going back and looking at the photos of the one in the OP that the new tag was just sewn over the original tag. -

Welcome o the Forum, Admiral. Nice blade. The sheath is not original to the knife, as you may know. It is not USGI and although a solid piece looks to be handmade based on the stitching and other features. Stick around. If you are a knife nut you'll like it here. Regards, Charlie -
