Found at a recent collectors estate sale. No purple heart or Columbia accolade. MASTER ENGR JR GR Carl Woline 6th ENGRS 3rd DIV. KIA March 29, 1918. Still listed as missing. His grave is somewhere on the Somme battlefield.

Notice she is wearing the wing on the lapel of her jacket.    

The original recipient may have been awarded a named BS that was misspelled and this is how he had it corrected. We will never know for sure.     W

I love the uniform they wore.      

I live in Detroit so I’m definitely going to keep my eyes peeled.   Feel like I found it already.   I wonder if any of the local museums have ever seen anything, there are several.   There must have been thousands of women working there.

Thrift store find locally.  Seldom turn up anything of this vintage or older, but that's been twice this year!  Maybe 2025 is looking up, haha.   New Mexico Military Institute with the school patch on the right sleeve and what I believe has been identified before as the ROTC patch with the school crest on the left shoulder.
