What were his years of service?    I think you are missing his Navy Good Conduct Medal.

I am searching for the unit roster for the regiment from 1881-1884.  I want to know if a particular soldier was ever affiliated with the 3d Cav during this period of time; anyone know where I can find it?   Name:  McGARRY, Thomas J. Rank:  Private   Is there any record of him receiving the Indian Campaign Medal?

The corporal Chevron looks like one that would have had a branch of service insignia such as Quartermaster Corps or Ordnance Corps, but never had a device added.

I didn’t see anything else belonging to the general listed at the time, so the seller may have only had the Air Medal. I’d definitely be interested in acquiring any of his other items if they surface, would love the chance to reunite them.
