Hi Michael, another nice one. A very impressive collection. I contacted the guy but he is an older gentleman and he is not into pictures. He told me that it was in the box with all the accessories in the packages. He said he thinks it is from the 80's. Did these come out in the 80's or only in the early 90's? I contacted him on the 8th and he got back to me today. rocky -

I think the bar on the medal attributed to Short is authentic. All the details of the lettering match exactly other known original bars. I'm don't have a problem with the narrow back strap. -

I bought Bruford's medal group from the late Todd Wheatley at the Great Western Gun Show about 30 years ago. I sold the group in 2015 (but saved digital copies of the research.) -

That's a really neat album! If it were mine, I'd be stressing about rust from the staples bleeding into the cloth patches. Of course if you remove staples, then you potentially lose the name ID connection written under each patch for that particular patch which is part of the cool factor. -

Talked to a fella today at the store. I asked where he had this done, he said the first one was done in Vietnam. But his wife recreated it for him. She did all the work herself. Pretty impressive. Had dragons down the sleeves, should had taken pics of it all. Thanked him for his service and said to tell his wife she did an awesome job. -

With the crossed rifles its supposed to be a US Marine Corps sergeant patch, don't recognize the era exactly but its relatively modern from the synthetic embroidery gleaming in the light. -

A nice quality bar and interesting combo to an infantry officer (accompanying CIB). -

This showed up today in a group buy. At first I thought it was 1930's US Army, but then thought it might be USMC, possibly theater-made. Thoughts and opinions?
