As QED4 mentioned, the Road Runner patch is not specifically military but it was a popular 'counter-culture' design patch popular on tour or souvenir jackets during the 1960's and 1970's. Here is another example which came from an US Air Force veteran I believe was made in Korea (possibly Japan) in the late 1960's or early 1970's. -

Hey all, have an event coming up I with the theme being VE Day/ late war Germany. So I finally put my late war kit together. Some small things, like I need to dub my boots, and some personal items need to be upgraded, but all around a pretty good looking impression of a Late war combat soldier in my opinion. Let me know what you think. There are 2 impressions, carbine and garand. -

I have kind of been drawn to USGI flashlights of late myself. The examples I found (primarily at the swap meet) are pictured. All have "U.S." molded into the plastic tube above the flashlight's designation. All work and when found, the MX 199/U lights all came with the red filter installed in the lens extensions.
