Never seen another fully embroidered variation from Fairfield Air Depot "FAD" as I have seen 3-4 different leather variations. Super near, larger for an overall style uniform. -

Hi earlymb, thank you for your photos of WN60 and the beach, also the bocage embankments and how difficult it would have been to assault up those slopes carrying everything a soldier carried and hands occupied carrying a rifle. This is my similar. Again it came out of the bush with other legit Navy medals. It wasn't in collectors hands where someone messed with it. I don't see a maker on the ring but my eyes are not great. Years ago the consensus was that the medal itself was not the Navy variety. Odd. -

Awesome. There is another scene in the movie where the beach master got a Bren gun carrier started by whacking it with a swagger stick. You should have had him try that on the Jeep. -
